Ever since Elite Chicago Limo started in 2003, we have adopted a “do it yourself” motto in the limo industry. From limo service, to cleaning, and web design, we have taken the time to learn how to develop and build parts of our business ourselves. We thought that this approach allowed us to become a more efficient limousine company. Although we loved getting behind each part of the limo service process ourselves, we never thought that we would ever be building and customizing our own limousines and party buses.
At the start of 2012 and our 10 year Milestone, however, we decided to take the steps in building our first and very own party bus. We were involved in this magnanimous road monster’s creation in every way imaginable. We demolished the interior of a shuttle bus with sledgehammers, designed it in AutoCad, molded the individual parts, and assembled them. And while some of the custom builders out there certainly do a good job at converting party buses in Chicago, we thought that we were able to at least match them with the contents and excitement level of our party bus. Of course, only our customers will be able to judge if we were successful at this incredible venture.
This weekend will mark the first set of trips with our newly built party bus in Chicago. We will be anxiously awaiting customer feedback and are currently trying to come up with a name for our prized conversion. The names “Royal” (due to the gold, silver, and pearl color mesh) and “Abstract” (because of the Rorschach-type of design) come to mind, but we will certainly take suggestions from our fellow Chicagoans and customers.
In our next blog update we will share some of the pictures of the party bus building process and its awesome attributes.
